Three Years, Three Wild Rides: The Story Behind OuShaver Lake BrewFest Honors 🍻

From day one, we promised to brew beers that honor tradition, push boundaries, and—above all—taste exceptional. This past weekend at the 2026 Shaver Lake BrewFest, that dedication was put to the test once again.

Out of 19 incredible breweries evaluated by a panel of certified beer judges, our Dancing Satyr Coffee Vanilla Stout walked away with a prestigious Honorary Mention right before the podium finishers were named!

For the craft beer laymen out there, here is why that is a massive win: in professional judging, an Honorary Mention means our stout survived every single round of blind elimination and made it all the way to the final "Best of Show" table. The judges loved its flawless balance of robust coffee and smooth vanilla so much they pulled it aside for a special public shout-out.

Looking back, our three-year journey at Shaver Lake tells the real story of what goes on behind the brewery doors at Reborne:

• 2024: We stepped up to our first-ever professional competition and stunned the crowd by taking home Best of Show with Dragon’s Blood Rye IPA.

• 2025: We brought our delicate, unfiltered Lorelei’s Enchantment Kellerbier. While it didn't place on the podium—a common fate for subtle, old-world lagers in big festival environments—it taught us a lot about the grit and unpredictability of competition dynamics.

• 2026: We roared back to the final table with Dancing Satyr, proving that our inaugural win wasn't a fluke.

Whether we are brewing aggressive rye IPAs, traditional German lagers, or complex, flavor-forward stouts, Reborne belongs on the big stage.

Competing forces us to keep sharpening our craft, and making the final table among 19 of our region's finest breweries is a testament to our Founder, CEO & brewmaster’s relentless drive.
